who do I blog for?
Jack Nicolson put it brilliantly in the road-trip scene from the 1999 movie As Good As It Gets: Not everyone has a terrible story to get over. Some people have great stories, beautiful stories that take place in parks with friends and noodle salad. Good times, noodle salad. Just no one in this car.
If you're overwhelmed today or need help facing a painful yesterday, you're in the right place. You matter to God. It (whatever it is), matters to God. But no one can make that discovery for you. I'm here to comfort, inspire, and even challenge you along the way. The lessons I learned throughout my toughest years of healing were never just for me. God had you in mind as well. You are why The Medicine Place exist.

my hope for readers
If a life can be a book, I open mine to you. Read my story, and gain new insight into your own.
Merry Christmas!
Hi ladies! Once again, I find myself apologizing for not blogging. I have a sinus infection and the sinus pressure makes it hard to have organized thoughts.
I have something to share with you as soon as I'm well. Meanwhile, please know that I am praying for you. I understand how painful the holidays can be for some, so know that I pray over my precious readers on a regular basis. You are not alone and you are covered in prayer!
If you have a special prayer need, please let me know through the contact page.

I'll be out of town next week
I have the best intentions to introduce you to an author by the name of Cecil Murphy before I go out of town next week to help my Dad, who is being treated for throat cancer.
I'm a mom and I still have the day job, so the plan is to share a news letter Cecil wrote by tommorow, and hope to blog again by Tuesday, October 20th.
Thanks for understanding and I appreciate your prayers. The good news is, The Jonah Chronicles can now be ordered by going to the book news page. Life truly is a wonderful and awful mixture of things.

Personal updates
I'm trying to be back! My son's fever was the onset of swine flu. You read it right. After a tough week, I am blessed to announce that he is feeling much better and ready for a full day of school tommorow.
Meanwhile, I just spent the last hour setting up my next guest blog and somehow lost the whole thing! I'm going to bed and plan to rise early to re-type.

A quick hello with an update
Hi ladies! I'm sorry I don't have a new blog for you today. My son is home from school with a fever, so he gets my undivided attention.
'Just wanted to tell you that I'm thinking of you! Good news, my book is going to the printers tomorrow. So The Jonah Chronicles should be ready toward the end of October. A look inside feature has recently been added to the page! You can now read the chapter titles and an excerpt in addition to the introduction.
And if you pre-order your copy, you receive a discount.
